SoundFM Advertising Policy

WHEREAS SoundFM is required to diversify and increase its revenues to maintain its current operations, as well as make agreed upon changes to operations, and encourage growth in its capacity, SoundFM will now accept some commercial activity of a limited nature. All agreements regarding advertising will be under the authority of the Board of Directors.

SoundFM will reserve the right to refuse any advertisement that...

• 1. Does not meet the standards of the SoundFM sound.
• 2. Is not a local business.
• 3. Is a business that engages in documented human rights violations, questionable labour practices, or actively participates in or causes environment degradation.

All advertising messages will be screened by SoundFM and in house production of clients' ads will be required to ensure that advertising on the station meets our standards of broadcasting and complements the overall sound of the station and does not run counter to our mandate.
